We collect information you give us directly when you enquire about or book a trip, and a small amount of technical information when you visit our website.

02 How we use it
- To respond to enquiries and prepare quotes or itineraries
- To book and manage your trip with camps, lodges, airlines, and park authorities
- To meet Tanzanian immigration, park, and safety requirements that require traveller information
- To take payment and send booking confirmations, invoices, and pre-departure information
- To respond to questions or complaints during and after your trip
- To send occasional updates about our trips, if you have opted in to hear from us — you can unsubscribe at any time
We do not use your health or travel document information for any purpose beyond planning and operating your trip safely and legally.
04 Cookies
Our website uses a small number of cookies to remember basic preferences and to understand, in aggregate, how visitors use the site — for example, which pages are most useful when planning a trip. You can disable cookies in your browser settings; the site will still function, though some preferences may not be remembered between visits.
05 Data retention
We keep booking and travel document information for as long as needed to operate your trip, handle any post-trip questions, and meet our tax and legal record-keeping obligations, after which it is deleted or anonymized. Enquiry details from trips that don't proceed to booking are kept for a limited period in case you'd like to pick the conversation back up, and can be deleted sooner on request.
06 Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including restricted access to booking systems and encrypted payment processing. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so while we work to protect your data, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
07 Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to certain uses, or ask us to restrict processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below — we will respond within a reasonable timeframe, and may need to verify your identity first.
Note that some information — particularly travel documents and payment records tied to a completed booking — may need to be retained for a period to meet legal or tax obligations, even after a deletion request.
08 Children's privacy
Our website and booking process are intended for use by adults arranging travel, including on behalf of children travelling with them. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children, and information about minors is only collected as part of a family or group booking made by a parent or guardian.
09 International transfers
As a Tanzania-based operator working with international travellers and suppliers, your information may be processed in Tanzania and in other countries where our suppliers, payment processors, or service providers are located. Where required, we take reasonable steps to ensure such transfers are protected to a standard consistent with this policy.
10 Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The version published on this page is always the current one, and the "last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
